If you are gonna put the Busch series on a cable station, ESPN/ESPN2 is the way to go, as they are one of the stations that have the most reach out of all the cable stations.
And also remember about Rusty, he still is relatively a rather new broadcaster, not like a lot of the other broadcasters for the races. Personally, I think he is doing rather well.

Well, being around the sport from just about the beginning of the TV coverage as we know it no one would televise a race for years and years except the Daytona 500. Then ESPN with Bob Jenkins , Larry Newburg , Dr. Jerry Punch the late Benny Parsons started showing NASCAR races and basically made it what it is today. Then big TV money moved in a bought the rights to show NASCAR. When doing that they locked ESPN out of the tracks and any interveiws that were made the drivers had to go out in the parking lot ot be interveiwed. That really put a sour spot in my tummy and have had a hard time watching the big tv guys scince then
I feel this is when it became more about certain drivers and forget about the rest. The chase sucks the way it is set up.
Sorry I'm getting off track. Yes I am sure that I will watch more Busch races this year than I will watch NASCAR. Jenkins I s still around but Newburg has passed on now. I think ESPN can fine tune there commentators and really become a force again.
Rusty will probably get better. This is just his second year as a commentator first year doing mainly IRA races so I would think give him a chance.

There are fans of the Busch series that don't have ESPN or ESPN 2 that are out of luck.Yest there are cable packages at some apartment complexes and some "out" of major cities that still have limited access cable.
The commentators need some spit and polish. They want to make it so non race fans can understand but they have missed the mark.
The racing is good, but needs to be where more can receive it.
That's all I have to say about that.

I think that both ESPN and ESPN2 are good for NASCAR because 2 reasons.....
1)NASCAR Busch series isn't that popular
and
2)It actually opens up to a wider audience because people watch those channels for recaps and sports like NASCAR.

I think that ESPN and their affiliation with ABC is great for the Busch series. The extra amount of NASCAR related story coverage and the addition of NASCAR Now is good to see. I agree with you on Rusty Wallace, I don't think he is good for ESPN/ABC. I liked him some as a driver but don't care for him at all as a commentator.

I do! I continuously watch the Cup race and that i watch the NW and vehicles on each and every occasion I really have the threat. i'm oftentimes no longer very into nationwide except my guy is operating yet nonetheless watch it. throughout the time of the last 365 days I really have become an excellent fan of the vehicles. they have a number of the finest racing out of all 3 sequence in my opinion. it type of feels to have the competitiveness the cup sequence has for excellent racing yet without the "factors racing" crap. in simple terms all out not basic racing, the way it will be.

I totally agree they could get someone else. He is kind of annoying @ times. I do like ESPN & 2 coverage of Nascar they do a good job. Nascar Now is a good show it comes on every night on ESPN 2. I am not sure of the time.

If anything is bad for the Busch series it's Cup drivers filling all the spots. This is supposed to be the minor league series, but there is no room left for new and upcoming drivers.
