for lcd tv-samsung or sony. Samsung has better contrast so the black is black not grey making brighter colors more vivid(due to having a darker background). Sony is more natural in terms of skin tones and accurately reproducing colors and if you have cable-it upoconverts the lower analog signals.

LCD stands for "liquid crystal display" .
So we need more info.pal. Do you mean LCD TV or LCD Monitor or LCD Projector ?
