Go to Youtube and type in Yuki Kondo Vs. 8 time BJJ World Champion Saulo Ribiera and watch what happens to the jui jitsu guy.

Look for "Sakuraba Highlights" he's beat all of the gracies. Search for Matt hughes vs Royce Gracie, there's a TON of BJJ losses out there. BJJ practitioners who do not learn more than 1 art get wrecked. Period. If you've never seen a BJJ fighter lose in MMA you haven't watched much of it.

Keeping in mind very few people enter an MMA match with only one disceplene under their belt, yes, BJJ fighters lose - the biggest example is, of course, Hughes vs Gracie.

Hi there

Dont watch the UFC but what i think your trying to say is that a good martial artist lost to a better martial artist.

Remember its the person not the art!

Sure, each of the Gracie's have lost. Vitor Belfort, Ricardo Arona, Mario Sperry, the Nogueira brothers, Wanderlei Silva have all lost. At this moment, I can't think of someone (in trained in BJJ) who hasn't lost at least once in one of the organizations or another.

Its not necassarily who they fight, its what the person knows and how they know how to apply what they know in the fight. Any style could beat another style and visa versa, it all depends on the person doing th efighting.
