Ive looved the fuji sensor. used the s1pro and loved it so much till it died on me. moved on to the d50now.

a friend of mine is selling his s2pro cheaply.should i dump( or rather sell it would seem nicer) my d50 for the s2pro?

Your S1 died and I predict that the 5 year old S2 is not far behind. I'd keep the D50 as a known quantity. If you want to spend money on an upgrade, look towards the D80, which is probably miles ahead of the S2, considering the age of that camera.

To be truthful, it's a tough call. The Fuji camera takes great pics, but the Nikon is an awesome camera too.

I think I'd keep the Nikon, maybe not trusting such an old camera. Can you afford both?

i ll go for nikon, fuji for back up.
