Syndromes are signs, symptoms, phenomena or characteristics which often occur together. These signs help a doctor recognize and diagnose an illness or condition (along with testing). There are literally thousands of syndromes so there is no way to name them all or give you all the details. I will list a few syndromes for you but there is not the time or allowable space to go into all their details. You can easily find that information though once you have the names of the syndromes.

Some syndromes include:
AIDS (Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome )
carpal tunnel syndrome
polycystic ovary syndrome
PMS (premenstrual syndrome)
acute respiratory distress syndrome
Down's syndrome
IBS (irritable bowel syndrome)
asperger syndrome
RLS (restless leg syndrome)
chronic fatigue syndrome
marfan syndrome
fragile X syndrome
mittelschmerz
fetal alcohol syndrome
Munchausen syndrome
Tourette syndrome
Reye's syndrome

This is just a small sampling of all the syndromes out there. There isn't anyway I can remember them all or write them all down but this gives you an idea.
