The proof of the historical existence of Jesus and the authenticity of the founding of his church is a good starting point for a non-believer. Denials of the historical existence of Jesus have frequently been attempted.NON-CHRISTIAN sources attest to the historical existence of Jesus.
The statements of Tacitus around 117 (Annales XV,44), of Pliny the Younger around 112/113 (letter to the emperor Trajan), and of Suetonius around 120 (Vita Claudis, ch. 25) are reliable and historically conclusive and we may admit them as trustworthy evidence. We also possess statements by the Jewish writer Josephus Flavius from around 93/94 which permit us to accept his knowledge of the historical personality of Jesus.
As far as I am concerned, the best proof that Jesus is for real is the fact that he answers my prayers. I am not trying to pull your leg, it is true. He has also revealed himself in countless ways to believers so he is truly risen.
Peace and every blessing!

Proofs are numerous. The greatest proof is the creation of man and the wonderful things hidden in nature which humans crave to find about.Another proof is The Holy Bible. The Bible is also a historical book which even the archeologists use .Jesus is true and he is one of the manifestations of God.The muslims deny it but the real and real real truth is that The Quran is a photo copy of the old testament[torah],but Mohammed had changed it so that The Quran will just have something common.Mohammed was a business man and one of his wives was a 9 year old girl. And in the Quran it is said that the earth is flat[he was poor in geography].And Abraham had actually sacrificed his real son,Issac and not his slave son Ishmael.Of course if Abraham just sacrificed Ishmael he would have been happy to see Issac safe and then How can God test his obedience? Whoever denies Jesus as the Christ is unfortunate and on the day of the Judgement they will regret.God bless your friend.

I would just replace your forward stroke with the word “or” to answer, because I don’t think Jesus was god.
Firstly I do believe in gods (cause I’m a polytheist), but not in that one almighty god who apparently isn’t able to get creation right.
Secondly I do believe in a Jesus, but he was only a man (sort of like the guy next door but certainly much wiser). So this Jesus was sort of like the Buddha, an inspired man who knew his stuff.
Anyway all the above is feasible and there’s nothing so hocus-pocus about it (considering that “gods” could simply be powerful extraterrestrials or beings from other dimensions which according to quantum physics is not impossible). But the biblical god? Ummm, don’t think so.

Hello ! xtiancoo.
I most defenitely believe in Jesus Christ ,who is God.
Hebrews 1:3Who being the brightness of His glory and the exact image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power.
When He had by Himself purged our sins ,sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on High.
Christ is the revealer of God and is number one with God as far as His humanity goes .
In between we have everything which occurred that broke the back of the devil.
All that occurred made the victory of the angelic conflict a reality even before the eternal future begins.
God never changes He is always faithful and has provided everything for us so that we can live with Him forever!.
God reveales Himself to those who search for Him with all of their heart.
We cannot prove Him to anyone.
Take care!

A belief system is generally a personal thing. Your are not likely to change your room mate. And he is not likely to change you.
You can request "Scientists and God: What 90 Scientists have to say about creation and the Creator" from 8v@8v.com and it will be sent to you by overland mail. The booklet dispels the myth that all scientists are atheists.

God doesn't control people and greed, lust war are human traits. Tell your room mate the odds that Creation formed out of nothing are practically impossible. Happy Easter.

That is an age-old problem called the "problem of evil".
You should check out some classic philosophers. There are several who offer various proofs for the existence of God.

History has shown that mankind has invented many gods. It is/was a handy way for rulers to control their flock. But in this enlightened era we all could and should know that all gods are all imaginary.
Be good be nice.

Christians believe in god and Jesus. Jews believe in Jehovah (God). Muslims believe in Allah (God) and Mohammed (their Jesus). There is no proof that God is real, It's all about faith these religions are based on faith only.

God has always blessed his children and brought great wrath on those who dont believe. bad things happen to bad people, ask your friend to explain Isreal to you. There is no reason that the Jews should exist in this world with all of the persecution and attacks we have had in our past yet we do. then have him read the first two books of the bible. that should help him
