you have no dryer and washer yet you have a computer and internet? Interesting! By the way if america overthrew the mex gove or came to an agreement with them at least, we would not be having this problem and i in know way asked you to give up your luxuries for other people but if we want to end this U.S problem we can do it the right way After all the U.S is known for butting into other peoples affairs why not know? The U.S prides itself in being such a humanitarian country that helps other poor countrys but not their neighbor, It's all talk. If the U.S govet really wanted to get rid of illigals they would of a long time ago but they dont for reasons unknown! God knows it's not that hard. And a lot of iligals do pay taxs i should know i do them for them!

This is an incredibly unpopular sentiment right now, but I don't much care what the isolationist xenophobes think of me. I say open the borders. If we opened the borders, illegal immigration wouldn't be illegal any more, thereby robbing people of the argument that they just care about "enforcing the law." Whatever. Everyone should get to participate in the American dream. And if your biggest competition on the job market is a guy named Jose who speaks broken English, then you have much bigger problems than illegal immigration.

More information...I work at a Courthouse. The illegals that come here have actually come to the U.S taking along any pregnant female relative with the intention of having the child in the U.S. What does this do? As soon as the child is born here the family is able to apply for any social services programs . Therefore 1 or 2 of the family work to send home $$ to their family's ( which is tax free) and the family that has the baby collects welfare, food stamps, wick and free health care. This comes out of the American taxpayers pocket. I have seen this repeatedly. If the illegals want to come work in our country ...then they should pay taxes just like everyone else to help support the social programs that they collect on. I haven't got a problem with someone wanting to have a better life, just that they should not take advantage of the American tax payers in the process. And again to emphasize this...I HAVE SEEN THIS HAPPEN!

First, coming into the USA illegally is a CRIME punishable by imprisonment. Likewise those employers that maintain the kinds of work invironment likewise are committing a crime.

There is nothing wrong with requiring "documentation" of anyone entering the USA. If a stranger wants to enter your house without your permission isn't that a crime (trespass)? If in the same situation they want to steal from you at the same time entering your house isn't that a crime? (burglary/robbery)

All countries have some laws otherwise there would be rampid chaos. In the USA the authorities ought to stop sending illegals back to their own countries only for these people to return to the USA once again. I believe they ought to lock up in prison those illegals who come to the USA illegally for the second time for at least ten (10) years!

If you want to come to the USA, come legally even if it may take longer. If you don't come to the USA legally you should be deported as soon as possible. The authorities ought to instigate investigations of the employers you speak of and do a massive sweep.

Most Americans wish America could accept the truly down trodden and destitute. No one wants to turn away some one who so desperately needs us. However, we must balance an emotional response with a rational response. Who pays? We simply can not allow everyone who needs to come to this country in. It's economically infeasible. America does not have the tax base to support the abundance of uneducated workers that come into our country.

So you are saying if I have running water, food, clothing and a job my neighbor who is poor has the right to come into my house, When he comes into my house he has a legal right to steal from me then show up at my employer and take my job? This is why the immigration issue is so fuzzy, too many Americans feel the USA is the Welfare/Medicare/Social Security agency for Mexico. We are being conquered by Mexico, when will Americans wake up and see that we are being invaded?

The US at one point had no running water, electricity, and illness. WE WORKED TO MAKE IT BETTER. We didn't go and run to another country illegaly and strain their resources.
People are able to come to this country legally, so why don't the illegals? Because they have no respect for our laws.

The reason we are able to have running water and nice schools and roads is because we pay taxes. Illegals don't. They get a free ride. Why should my tax money be spent so that someone who has broken our laws, who doesn't pay taxes can enjoy the same services that I do???

Sorry for your in-laws and sorry that many people have to live in rotton countries, but the USA is not responsible for everyone else in the world and the taxpaying citizens of the USA cannot affort to support all the poor sods of every other country. Why don't you personally send money to your in-laws to enhance their lives if you feel so badly for them. Give up some of your own personal luxuries in order to help them. Go for it! But, you have no right to try to force other people to jump on your personal band wagon. Everyone has their own causes and just because their causes aren't the same as yours do not make theirs any less important. Many of us have our own poor people within our own families right here in the USA and we are busy helping them. Not ALL of our own citizens in the USA have all those luxuries that you speak of in your litany here. I, personally, do not have a clothes dryer because I cannot afford one and so I dry my clothes by hanging them. I do not have a dishwasher, which you may believe is something that ALL Americans have. I drive a very old, on-it's-last-legs, car and don't know how I will replace it when it dies. I live payday to payday with no room for unforeseen expenses and catastrophes. I pay a fortune for decent medical coverage and at least 1/3 of my income goes to taxes. You say these people can't afford birth control - then by their logic, it is cheaper to have more babies than it is to find a way to purchase birth control? I am 51 years old and do not own a home - I rent. Why should I and citizens who are more unfortunate than myself be expected to pay for all the needy souls from all the other countries of the world? We have our own downtrodden, homeless, sick and disabled people that we aren't even managing to care for properly. We need to look after our own FIRST and the countries of the world need to stand up and take care of their own. Every person here in the USA who has friends and family in Mexico and other countries who are poor are welcome to take care of those people themselves, but don't force others to join your band wagon. Don't wait for the USA to "overthrow Mexico" because Mexico is a democratic country, so this will NEVER happen. Mexico is a rich country with lots of natural resources and we should not even be sending aid to Mexico! The aid we do send obviously does not get to where it is meant to go.

i agree with the problem being with illegal aliens flooding across our boarder but that is where we part .
that is why we must secure our boarder!
we must build a wall and secure it with armed guards
they also create a problem of not paying taxes and by using schools to send their illegal children to they are in fact stealing from me you and every one of my tax paying neighbors! then they use social services intended for legal us citizens.
it is a crime they are committing and they must be deported and if they wish to work here legally apply through proper channels.
by promoting amnesty you promote anarchy and you do not want lawlessness !

What is the question? Illegal aliens take resources, jobs, housing, and do not pay taxes, or contribute financially to our economics. They are a drain and a burden. They should live in their own country and fix it there instead of sponging off us. If Clinton hadn't;t signed that stupid NAFTA agreement, we wouldn't be in this position.
Thanks Democrats!

Tough $hit for them! Should we have to pay for their misfortune? I don't think so! If your car is a POS but your neighbor has a new 7 series BMW, do you have the right to steal it? NO! Or, if you make less money than your friend, do you have the right to half their income?

Think before you speak!
