We make quilts and I've thought about this also, buying on-line to save money but, the big ...but, I've dealt with E-Bay at times and have never been fully satisfied with the products I've gotten. Maybe I'm to "pickey" or, trying to get something for nothing, I don't know.
I have to feel the fabric, see it first hand, actually look at it from several different angles to really see it.
Sometimes I even pass it up the first time then come back but, when I do purchase it, the fabric, it's the best for what I want so, I just can't buy On-line.
If your intent is just getting material then buy E-Bay of course.

I have purchased bolts for very good prices at Schindlers Fabrics website which is a very good store. You can callt hemont he phone and ask questions first as well as just order swatches before you buy the bolt.
