Just moved to Sydney Australia from CA

What is the legal age for sex between a male and a female? Particulary in the New Southern Wales province.

17 in Queensland unless it's been changed. Few are going to bother you unless you do it in the road. The law can be flexible on this if the partners are about the same age. But is there is 3 or 4 years age difference, you can be in big trouble.

16 is the legal age of consent. NSW is not a province, it's a state.

16 is the legal age for male/female, male/male, female/female and any other combination of consensual sex in NSW and most States. I have a feeling it is 17 in Tasmania.
