I have learned that abstinence does not make me feel better, it may make my wife feel better, it may make her girlfriends feel better, but it does not make me feel better. The idea that led to leads up to the end or perhaps beginning Easter celebration does not make me celebrate the return of conjugal relations, but it does certainly make me question the validity of a religion that seeks to make us do without and somehow convince us that that is a better way to live or to believe in God.
