I would return to Summer Island Village in the north Male Attoll in the Maldives. This place was just breath taking. The Diving was amazing, we saw quite a lot of things including three sharks, two turtles and a manta ray. Diving may not be something for everyone - but still the beaches were white sand and turqoise colour sea. the staff were friendley, the water bungalows had a glass floor which you can see all the fish swimming underneath you on a night. The housekeeping staff put flowers on your bed at night, which made you feel so special. You should check it out. We booked through Cosmos but you can book through The hotel direct, and you can arrange a flight in their sea plane, or take a dhondi ride to the island.

Ooohhh difficult one...... I loved Australia, did Sydney, then Blue Mountains and up to Cairns and the Great Barrier Reef. Amazing country, and the Barrier Reef was awesome. Second choice would be Thailand, more for the beach side of things and the fact that the people are so lovely and friendly. Watching a local school class practicing their national dance was a priviledge.

I just think we are lucky to be able to visit some many parts of the world, and learn about their culture. Think I have enjoyed most places we have been, be it Europe or further afield, travel is what you make it!

Crete. The most wonderful people with great food. The most relaxing holiday ever - I never felt threatened like you do in some more "exotic" areas of the world.
