So, I am 16. I weigh 162 and am like 5'4. I am not fat, but I have a very chubby tummy it makes me look obnoxiously miss proportioned. I have tried everything to get rid of it. I work out all the time... (running a mile at least 3 times a week). I eat healthy and walk/run/ play sports all the time. I am very active. I just cant shake the tummy fat. The rest of me is toned nicely. What should I do? Anyone have any suggestions?

everybody has a place where body has fat storage and to lose it - overall weight loss is the only way, cause you cant chose which body part to lose weight off.
find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter your stats, take 300-400 calories off that number and that's how much you need to lose weight.
5-8servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water a day
5-6 small meals instead of 3 big ones (breakfast is the most important - make sure to get complex carbs like whole wheat bread, oatmeal, fruit etc)
4-6 times a week cardio for 30-50min, light weight training, many reps
no junk food, no sodas, no alcohol, no white flour (cakes, cookies, white bread, pasta etc.), nothing high in sugar (ice cream)

You sound very healthy actually. I'm 16 too, but 5 '2 and weighing 123 pounds. Sadly for me, my fat is concentrated all over. Eek! Wanna buddy up? I wanna lose weight too. Just give me an email if you want a buddy, since we're the same age, it'd probably be easier to support each other.

Avoid skipping meals. Eating increases your matabolism, thus skipping meals can 'trick' your body into slowing down its metabolism in an attempt to conserve calories during a period it perceives as a situation where limited fuel is available.

do a lot of sit ups. and don't sit when u just ate. cause i think it would really make ur tummy big.

i got it from the chinese women. they would really stand for a few minutes when they just ate. so that their tummy would not get big.

maybe try to get more protein in your diet or ask your doctor what would be an effective way since every body type is different :o)

Running/Walking does nothing.

Do alot of pushups, situps, and other stomach stretches and strength things.
