I'm with you about snacks and needing something that you can take in the car etc....I shop at Walmart and they carry a great bag of "great value mixed dried fruit chips" they are found in the chip isle..across from it. I love the banana chips, pineapple pieces and other fruits that are dried. They are so satisfying and not like eating candy bars or potato chips....now I want to go buy some now that you asked the question...great for any time of day or night..

I have fallen in love with Old Dutch Butter Flavored Baked Spindles, they are like pretzels sticks, taste buttery, contain no trans fats and are delicious, there is only 2.5 grams of fat for 50 pieces! I also love just popping cherry tomatoes in my mouth, or even cutting up some fruit when I get the chance so I can just grabb some pineapple slices or whatever when I am on the go, also little yogurts or granola bars are great! I have a tendancy to not eat if I don't have something ready and I will end up going an entire day without food just because I forgot to grab something so I really try to always have something easy and quick on hand, also a mix of your favorite nuts and dried fruits for trail mix works well too, I like to buy the nuts that are not salted and cooked so you can eat them raw which is much better for you and add some dried mango and sugar free cranberries, soo good!

I like to mix cashews w/ dried cranberries. Snack size pkg.s of carrots are good to go.

Nuts! Raw almonds, pistachios, etc...They will not only fill you up faster, but they don't have processed sugars that can make you more hungry/crave other foods!

apple or celery sticks with peanut butter (put less peanut butter if you are afraid of the fat content)
cashew nuts almonds, all sorts of nuts
fruits ..any fruit, grapefruits make you full
