It is not racism, it is a fact.
You see, african american aod african natives, have darker skin, and that is a magnificent thing,
They posess more melanocytes (pigment cells) in the deep layer of the epidermis, giving to them, natural protection agains ultraviolet light.
Skin cancer, of almos any tipe (squamous cell carcinoma, basal cell carcinoma, and ultraviolet induces melanoma ) is almost unheard of, in dark skinned people.
It is a positive trait in a human being, to have very dark sjin, they are fortunate to have a racial trait that you and I do not posess......
If we think that an anatomical fact is racist, we can say by the same token, that those of us that have very light or fair skin, are "too delicate" or too prone to getting skin cancer from ultraviolet lights (in big amounts in sunlight)

This isn't racist, because it is a true medical fact. Dark skinned people do not get skin cancer as often as fair skinned people do because dark skinned people have more melanin.

It could be construed so in the way it is put. Maybe, it is appropriate to say dark-skinned people rather than dark people which may include anyone - white, black, yellow, brown, red and so on!

Yes, dark skin people have what's called melanin in there skin which helps protect them from intense heat. The lighter you are the less melanin you have.

No, it's not racist unless you make a big issue about it.

Although dark-skinned people have more melatonin and more protection, they are still prone to skin cancers and still need to use sunscreen, hats, sunglasses etc.
