yes it is dangerous, use a different light, lamp or definetly get a smaller wattage bulb. Most small lamps dont use 100 watt bulbs 60 watt is tops.I'd get a 40 watt floresence blub less heat buildup and puts out as much light.

I would not have a 100 watt bub that close to a combustible surface if the bulb is going to be on for any length of time. If possible, why not change it to an energy saver fluorescent bulb? This will give plenty of light, save energy and be a cool burning bulb.

use a c.f.l light or p.l light.. a 100 watt bulb is definitely hazardous, from a personal experience i can say that.. i had installed a bulb of 60 watt in my kitchen cabinet where i keep all kitchen linen .. my favorite table cloth which was nearest to bulb got wilted due to heat in a week

Very dangerous and that i'm hoping to under no circumstances go back to "The Grind", killing myself with a 40-50 hour artwork week taking on 70 hours of my time each and each and every week. that's truly a lot inhuman. i'm gonna say that i don't think of spending 70 hours dedicated to artwork a week. (commute, showering, unwinding, and so on) is what we are meant to be doing with our lives. more advantageous important issues to consider than an afternoon on the place of work. fortuitously i'm attending to do a interest i appreciate for a pair hours an afternoon and make a ton of money. to call it a interest is laughable because going to artwork to me is "play time". i'm between the fortunate few. although success has little or no to do with it as I had a fantastic favor to get out of "the gadget" and did each and everything in my means to finish it. Yay for me, I rock. Amen Brotha.
