I'm training for a half-marathon, etc. And want to drop a few lbs. But my question is...is drinking a lot of juice OK or should I just be drinking a lot of water. I drink a lot of orange and cranberry juice. Thanks in advance!

juices contain sugar, fresh juices and fruits also contain natural sugars.

If you are on a diet juices help maintain your sugar level however your diet should not merely contain fruit juices. It should be well balanced.

You are training for half-marathon. When you run you loose electrolytes. So you must take energy drinks. Gatorade contains well balanced electrolytes. That is why it is given to those who have some sort of dehydration, better than oral redydrating salts even the taste is better.

Well balanced diet....8-10 glasses of water and gatorade during your training sessions.

good luck!
