I have a 2006 F-150 Northland edition and just wanted to know what was so special if anything about it. Anyone help?

There are a few things Ford does that are regional specific, the Northland editions come from the factory with a block heater already installed as well as a secondary, electric cab pre-heater. I don't know where fordman gets his idea that an amarillo is bright yellow (maybe they painted them in-house) because Ford will ONLY Sale the bright Yellow Superduties to dealerships located in the state of Arizona where they're proving grounds are located. King Ranch is available just about everywhere in the southwest regions

Unfortuneately for what it has as an option, I can't help you with as I can't find it... I haven't found it as an option that could be ordered from Ford apparently...

I do know a certain region in the northern center of the US has a Ford dealers association that is called Northland.. and basically those dealers can order a engine block heater only from the factory...

You will probably need to go talk to a Ford dealer fom Minnesota or the dakotas to possibly find out.

Haven't heard of them, but I'm sure it is just a trim option and may have some special trim items on it.

We build the Super Duty's and we build some special ones like the King Ranch, and did a few Amarillo's which were all bright yellow. Good luck and hope you enjoy it.
