Bobby its very true. I thought about opening my own place of the sort. They will pull you 3 credit reports and I will not go about telling you how to do it yourself even though I can but it is in fact legal.
Edited to add that yes there is but the guy answering under me is stating that it is fraud. Bull sh** for example you can pay Equifax to remove inquiries. Thats all I am saying and no more examples and if noone believes me then oh well I dont care.

No one can remove items that are valid. Any place that does promise you this is a fraud and you need to stay very much away.
There are several companies that charge a fee for some services. This is legal to do as long as they are providing the service and not promising anything that can not legally be done. But these "services" are things you can do on your own that are totally free. The companies just use peoples lack of knowedge to take advantage of them.
There are still a lot of people who do not know that you are allowed 1 free credit report from each agency once a year. You also have the right to dispute any incorrect item on your credit report. If it is incorrect they are required to remove it. It does not cost you anything(other than time and postage) to send the dispute in.

The only way to remove stuff from your credit report is if it was unfairly put there in the first place. And you don't need one of these scammers to do this for around $700 when you can just do it yourself. You'd be amazed what you can do on your own when you are co-operative and talk to the people up the top. Otherwise, depending on what is on your report after a while it gets cleared automatically anyway

It's a scam. You can challenge an item on your credit report, and the agency has to remove it while they try to establish whether it's correct. But once the agency checks it out, they put it right back on your report.
