Imagine someone pulls the DNA off the Shroud of Turin or some artifact that actually WAS proven to contain Jesus’ DNA. Imagine that someone makes a clone from that DNA. Now imagine that cloned body without Jesus’ soul. It has a new soul now, inside essentially the body of Jesus. Wouldn’t you be scared of that clone? How would we know that he wouldn't turn out evil?

Was it His DNA that made Jesus good, or the fact that He was God's son? Was it His DNA that made Him charismatic and loved and loving of all? Or was it God's love shining through Him? Was it His DNA that gave him the genius, or the fact that He was God's son? Did His DNA give him compassion? Or did God's presence within Him do it?

Well darn Emily! You just broke my heart! I was going to write that story myself! Goes to show you, there are no original ideas anymore.

Maybe the trilogy sucked. LOL. Then I could do it better.

There is a great book trilogy with just that scenario, but I can't remember the name of it offhand. I'll try to remember it.

Okay, I found it. It's called In His Image: The Christ Clone Trilogy by James BeauSeigneur.

Smart: Since the body IS a soul, cloning would therefore, not be a reality. I'm not "cloning" around with you - the immortality of the soul dogma is a very bad piece of theology and can not be found in the pages of the Holy Bible. Only Jesus Christ is immortal - not humans. Refer to the book of first Timothy, chapter 6, verse 16, for an eye-opener !

Heavy stuff to digest. I would rather have some fun and a Philly Cheese Steak.
