I know a full blood hawaiian girl who has wavy hair with natural highlights. So i don't think so.

It doesn't really matter. The thing that really catches a guy's eye (and that's what you want, after all) is that the whole package looks good. If the hair is neat, looks good on you , suits you, then that is what a guy sees. He doesn't notice if it is long or short, if it is wavy or straight, if it is blonde or brunette! Guys only see "nice" or "not nice". Guys have only one thing on their mind. What you need is something that looks good on YOU and is styled so that it makes YOU look most attractive. There are styles that are currently in fashion, but are completely wrong for you, and would make you look "not nice". That is something you don't need!
