Yea, I personally found it difficult when I read in Deuteronomy that God suggests, as a punishment to a "rebellious son", he should be stoned in front of the townsfolk in order to instill fear into others. Now, Old Testimate or not, any "God" which has feelings like this toward ANYONE, no matter what their sin, is an evil entity and is innately Satanic. Perhaps you should sort out your values and reevaluate your beliefs and choose not to believe in a God which uses kindergarten tactics to teach his own creation. I often ask, "Is God omniscient, knowing the past and the future?" followed by "Well, then, if God knew that the angel, Lucifer, would betray him and ruin his creation (man), then why did he create him in the first place?" I find that most Christians can't account for this, and I doubt that you could either.

Frustrating isn't it? Especially when a majority of them are searching so hard to fill that empty spot and just accepting someone loved you enough to give up His life would fill it up. Our prayers with them...
And that's the beauty and frustration of free will. Why would God want to create a bunch of robots that just do what he says? He lets us chose...and that's what makes us so grateful for what's He's done. Sometimes he has to treat us like kindergartners when we act like them.
But more than anything is His love for us. That's what matters.

Why don't you go to Iraq, and provide these words of reassurance to all of the people dying over there. What could convince people more of god's love than dying a horrible death? Excellent idea on your part.
