God created us to know him, love him and be happy with him in the next life. How do we go about doing that?
When God made us, he implanted within us a burning desire for his will. Knowing his will and following it will give meaning to our life. This implies that it is our responsibility to give meaning to our life. Our task then is to find out his will for us.
God's plan for our lives is etched in our desires. To discover God's plan we need to have a personal relationship with him. But because he gave us free will, he will not tell us to be a doctor, an engineer or priest. That's up to us. That means we have to pray and reflect on it a bit. Maybe even ask other people to help us discern it. No big deal, really.
All of us have received gifts from God. Our primary gift or best gift is an indication of God's plan for us. We will find in it the handwriting of God. It will point to our life project, our assigned purpose, our God ordained mission. It will also point to our happiness.
Peace and every blessing!

To try to do the best with your life in the time that you have..would be my guess. But then I had a son now the meaning of my life is to give him the best life I can protect & educate him & try to lead him on a path to greatness & self worth. And also my like consist of alot of anxiety now always worrying about him..Am I doing a good job?Hoping he continues to have a healthy, happy childhood ( no traumas). Wondering what kind of man will he grow up to be?Will he always love& need me? I could go on for ever...I think everyones life has a different meaning good ones & bad. So the meaning of my life is to be a great mom & role model for my son....MY LIFE IS MY SON...I LOVE YOU SEBASTIAN ( MY LITTLE MAN)

There is no meaning.
We, and all other forms of life on this planet, are here simply through coincidence amid random chaos.
MY life's purpose is exactly the same as all other humans and most animals ...
Survive. Eat. Drink. Sleep. Sex.
In addition, though, to be creative, improve my lot and that of my family and friends and to leave the planet in at least the same condition it was in when I arrived. Not easy when so many others are screwing it up.
See Monty Python's 'The Meaning of Liff' and, after that, 'Life Of Brian'. That should give you many answers.

"Fear God and keep His commands" (12:13). God created man, because He had a purpose for us to accomplish. And He designed us so that, unless we fulfill that purpose, we have no real sense of accomplishment. Instead we create problems for ourselves.
What would happen if you tried to bake lasagna in the clothes dryer? What if you tried to run your car on Jell-O instead of gasoline? What if you tried to eat with a shovel and pitchfork instead of spoon and fork? What if you tried to mow your lawn with fingernail clippers?
Problems often result when things are created for one purpose, but we try to use them for a completely different purpose. Likewise, our lives are not satisfactory when we do not accomplish the purpose we were created for.
Matthew 6:19-21,24,33
Our main concern in life must be to work in God's kingdom and have a right relationship with Him. Other concerns may have some value but are far less important.
You can have only one master. You cannot put two things in first place in your life. God requires that serving Him must be the most important thing in life to us. Each of us must make a choice. Either God will be first, or something else will be first.
Matthew 22:36-39
The most important work God intends for us to accomplish life is to love God and love our fellowman.
John 14:15 - But love for God requires us to obey Him (1 John 5:2,3).
1 Corinthians 14:37 - God's commands are revealed in the Bible.
Lasting fulfillment in life comes only from obeying God's word and thereby serving God and man. We will not discuss here all that is involved in serving God, but we simply emphasize the importance of understanding our purpose in life. Until you understand the teaching of the Bible, you do not really understand the purpose of life.

In my opinion, I feel that the goal of life is simple. It is to thrive and be happy. None of us had a "choice" in whether or not we were born, but now that we are alive we have the power to either enjoy it or end it. If you find yourself in a situation, you should strive to make the best of it. Increase your happiness. Have fun with things. If you're going to be alive anyways, you might as well have a good time while you're at it.
So the purpose of life is to give life a purpose; the goal of life is to enjoy it.

That is a question not easily answered. I don't mean to sound like a nut, but for me, the answer is : God. God is comlicated, but makes sense. If God is taken out of the picture, life has no meaning. If you believe there is no God, you are saying: We are born. We live. We die. Period. There is no purpose. Our existence means nothing. But if believe in God, he is your purpose. You live to please him so you can be with him in eternity. Sorry. Didn't mean to preach, but seriously. I know God is MY meaning to life. Until I knew God, my life felt pointless. Now I feel fulfilled!

Simple,we were created out of love for love. Our God and Father wants to be with us and dine with us.He wants to bless us with treasures in Heaven and know in return we love him too.He has already done so much just for us,can you believe everything on earth and in the heavens were created just for us?That's a miracle in itself. To be with God and be loved by him and love him in return is the meaning to life. It's what life is all about.

According to Solomon, "Obey God and keep His commandments." Solomon refused himself nothing his eye or hand desired. He was the wealthiest king to ever rule on earth, and his sphere of influence was greater than any other king who ever ruled on earth. All known kingdoms of the world at that time paid him tariffs. His personal household was well over 1,000 people. In all of this, he came to the conclusion that all of life, everything in it is folly EXCEPT obeying God. Wisdom indeed.

YOU give YOURSELF meaning (if u care to). im sure, on your detahbed, as u think back through life, u dont want to come to the conclusion that uve lived in vain.
but im guessing ur going for the purpose of humanity? no HUMAN knows, and i dont think we were meant to find out just yet.

To leave this Earth a little better than you found it when you got here. To live life to it's fullest and take care of yourself as well as your friends, family, and neighbors. Take care of the animals and treat them with kindness.
