Yes, there are many belief systems. Yet only one of the world’s religions, Christianity, possesses all of the following attributes:

1. Other religions revolve around their founder’s teachings, rules, regulations, and rituals. Christianity, however, revolves around a Living Person, the Risen Lord Jesus Christ.
2. Christianity is unique because it is based upon historical facts and the revelation of God in the Bible.
3. Christianity is the only religion that offers the Assurance and Security of Salvation
4. It is the only religion that teaches that salvation is a free gift, unmerited by anyone, of god’s grace. There is nothing a person can do to merit salvation, since it is received through faith, apart from works.
5. Other religions were started because of man’s attempt to search for the supernatural, search for the truth, appease their innate sense of sin and guilt, and find favor with his god. But Christianity is the account of God’s search for mankind. "For the Son of Man has come to see and to save that which was lost" (Luke 19:10; John 10:10). His love for us was the reason He has revealed Himself to us through His Son Jesus and by His grace we are saved (Ephesians 2:8-9).
6. It reveals God as the Triune God - God as the Father, God as the Son, and God as the Spirit
7. Christianity is exclusive in its claims. How is Christianity Exclusive?

A. The God of Christianity is claimed to be the only true God (Jeremiah 10:10; Jude 25).

B. The Bible is claimed to be the Word of God and the only true revelation from God (Isaiah 8:20; Revelation 22:18-19; 2 Timothy 3:16).

Investigation by even the most skeptical will also reveal that there exists NO SINGLE SCIENTIFIC DISCOVERY that has been shown to prove error, factually or doctrinally, in the Bible. There is lots of speculation and hypotheses, but not a single verifiable fact. If you or anyone should discover one, you will become quite famous. Yet, since recorded history, no one has offered it up and entered their names into the history books. Instead what we have is pseudo-science pandering to the masses, as in the recent John Cameron tomb of Christ debacle.

As a simple experiment, try turning your objective intellect towards the argument that no book, comprising 66 “mini-books”, written over a period of 1500 years by 40 vastly different authors, having an outstanding literary internal consistency and coherency, could be written by mankind alone. Add to that the survival of the book’s ancient manuscripts, numbering in the tens of thousands, over thousands of years and yet these manuscripts remain over 98% textually pure. How this possible, when compared to all the other ancient writings are so few in number? For instance, the Dead Sea Scrolls contain all books of the Old Testament, except Esther, and have been dated to before the time of Christ. Now consider Julius Caesar’s Gallic Wars. Only ten copies written about 1,000 years after the event are in existence. In comparison, there are over 24,000+ New Testament manuscripts, the earliest one dating to within 24 years after Christ. How can we objectively and rationally explain this book, the Bible, especially in light of the claims I have made above?

An honest study of biblical prophecy will compellingly show the divine authorship of the Bible. Further, archeology confirms (or in some cases supports) accounts in the biblical record. No other holy book comes close to the Bible in the amount of evidence supporting its divine authorship.

C. The Biblical way of Salvation is the only way of salvation. There is no other way (John 3:36). No matter how good, religious or sincere a person may be, unless he or she has faith in Jesus they will not be saved. "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12).

D. Jesus Christ claims to be the only way to God, the only way of salvation and the only way to eternal life in heaven (John 3:16-17). Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me" (John 14:6).

First, you would hold a tournament in each religion. This tournament would be a competition in general sports and games and praying and stuff. like fusball. Then the best person from each religion would go to the ancient greek colleseum where they would totally duke it out with a ninja as the referee. They would fight to the death and the winner would be the best religion. If for some reason though, the catholics started losing. i am 100.23% sure that Jesus would heal them to full hitpoints so that they can beat the enemy.

As long as a religion isn't getting their members to commit crimes they can be considered good.

A religion is like a set of beliefs that everyone agrees to believe in or not believe in. People get along better when they share something in common, and to be a part of a religion you didn't believe in would just be frustrating for you or anyone, but there's lots of religions. You can almost judge a religion by the conduct of its members. Do they behave like you behave? If so, you'd probably get along with them. If not, then it's not the religion for you.

Who has proof that God exists and that their religion is the "true" one? If proof existed there'd be ONE religion, but there is no proof. There can only be one "true" religion but what is it?

I choose to be Christian, but that doesn't mean I like the way some people who claim to be Christians behave. It means that I believe in Christ, no matter what anyone else believes that means. We have what's supposed to be a record of the life of Jesus, written by people who claim to have "known" him, but how accurate was their perceptioin of what Jesus meant, and how accurate was what they wrote as a reflection of what they wanted to express, and how would I know either since I wasn't there at the time? I simply choose to believe and let my belief have an influence on my behaviour, and hope that other people who claim to be Christian will be easier to get along with because we claim to believe in Jesus.

So, which religion do you believe to be "true"? It's up to each individual, unless they live somewhere that a certain belief is mandatory... then that "must be claimed to be true by their adherants".

When Moses(pbuh) recieved the torah, judaism was the true religion. you see Judaism, Christianity, and Islam are just the newest and last religion sent to us by God. now how do we know which ones right, well if you are a Jew then why would God send another religion called Christianity, the reason for that is, the Torah of the Jews did not remain accurate, there were many changes made to it by man, and the coming of Jesus (pbuh) was predicted in the torah so the jews should've become Christians if they truly followed God. and then Christianity became the right religion, but not for long there were many changes that has been made to it after Jesus(pbuh), and how we know Christianity is not the last religion of God sent to us is because there is another prophet that has been propheciesed in the Bible and his name is Muhammad (Pbuh) so true Christians who followed Jesus (pbuh) and God became Muslims. and how we know Islam is the last religion sent by God is because it has been said in the Quran, holy book of muslims, and we know God doesn't lie. So the last and true religion that has been unchanged by man for 1500 years is Islam, and there would be no other true religion after it.

Someone once told me the best thing to do is to try to follow God the best you can. Study what people have to say then pray. Ask God if the religion is true or not.
James 1:5 "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not, and it shall be given unto him. 6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed."
If you ask sincerely believing that he will answer you, I know He will guide you. You may not receive a vision but somehow he will guide you in the right direction. It will probably be through a feeling or impression that you have. I know that God has his church here on the earth and that he is leading it. Good luck!

No religion is true to the extent that people have been meddling with the teachings and ideas for centuries in an effort to control others.
All religions are true in that they invoke a sense of wonder and awe in us, and ask us to care for each other and for all existence.

Alex: There is no religion on earth which represents God. Religion is man-made and consists of legalistic and ritualistic practices (do's & don'ts) and is centered around a man (whether dead or a live) ! Spirituality is another matter ! This is dependent upon RELATIONSHIP. This relationship is with God, the Father, through Jesus Christ, aided by the Holy spirit. God, the Father, draws those who He chooses (see: Book of John, 6th Chapter, verse 44) - these chosen ones are also, referred to as the "elect". This relationship is one of love. Love expressed firstly, to God, the Father, and secondly, love expressed to man-kind (neighbour). You can tell, who those genuine "elect" are, by guaging them to Book of John, 13th Chapter, verse 35 . The proof is in the proverbial "pudding". More Jesus - Less Religion !!!

God says test the spirits whether they be true or not. Not sure He meant it to be applied in this way, but God is truth. Other religions are based on created things, not the Creator. God promises, and fulfills His promises. God does not change. I don't know about other religions much, but I can't imagine anything beating that.

Alright imma break it down to u, if u have been born into a certain religion, go with it (it will make your family happy), if u find a nice guy/girl that u think is the one then change to that religion, but if u dont have the 2 then you are a Scientologist, they are ppl (like me) that believe in Science. In evolution (such as monkeys then humans) in the big bang and other such things.
