How old are you? Menstrual cycles are usually irregular at both ends of the age spectrum - if you are just beginning to have your periods (1 -2 years), your body is still developing & the hormonal cycles have not become fully established. If you are at peri-menopause (sometimes beginning late 30's, usually early to mid 40's), your hormonal cycles are winding down heading in to menopause.

Could be stress related, or hormone imbalance such as Polycysitic Ovarian syndrome like one of the other posters suggested or something else along those lines.

I would recommend seeing your dr about this and see what they think. As the last poster said try a gynecologist to help with this process. Start with your primary care physician if you have the kind of insurance that requires this.

Could be stress-related, or the change of seasons. Also, the moon affects it.
