Do you truly love your enemies? What is your first reaction when someone cuts you off on the highway, or calls you names, or whatever. Think about this before you answer, and answer truthfully.
I realised today that I did not get mad whan I was cut off. All I did was ask God to bless him. My first reaction used to be call him a jerk and then repent and pray for him.

You're more advanced than I am, Brother. I still have a bad habit of responding with annoyance, or being quick to take offense. I believe God has been pointing this out to me lately, drawing my attention to it. I think I am getting better, through Christ, at responding with love. But I still have a long way to go. I know He will be with me and help me. God bless you and keep you.

Yes a curse or a fit in a pique is there with me at times. I don't know if it is because my medications are off and it is a result of the manic depression I have or if it is just plain apostasy on my part. I do know that I would never by God's grace wish any enemy suffering of pain. Hunger, loss of limb, burnt body, dead loved ones, a punch in the face.
There are many a day that I do ask for God to help those I think have hurt me. There are many times when someone takes my parking spot that I allow it with a smile as well.
I know my humanity is at fault in all my poor decisions, and every curse I've pulled from my tongue. But I know that God's love is greater than the evil I live with. I know my faith in the Messiah will save me. So I do the best I can when I can, and pray for forgiveness when I fall. When I do fall I pray for the strength to get back up on my feet by reaching out for the hand of our Christ. It works. That is why He is there for us. Our humanity gets in the way even with a stupid T.V. commercial. When that happens the Holy Love of God is there to help.

Food for thought. So, satan puts these trivial little irritants in our way on purpose and God watches our reactions or responses. I sometimes get angry as can be with people I refer to as stupid that do things that annoy me. There are other times I let it slide and don't really give it a second thought. But I can't say I have ever blessed anyone ever who did something I considered to be foolish. Something to really think about.

HAHAHAHA! You are not alone! First sign of road rage is when you consider them your enemies! LOL

Yeah I'm in Vegas and its like people would just a soon run you over as to look at you. I just cant stand it anymore. I'm ready to give up driving.

Yeah I used to try and speed up so they couldn't cut in front of me. Now I flash them with a ...Praise the Lord and let them come on over. Know kidding I was getting bad. It was like I would be saying under my breath..."you knew you wanted over in this lane and now your trying to cut in front of me" anint happening. LOL I was bad.

Well I decided to put on the full Armour of God and especially while I'm driving and let them go for it. Cant tell you how many accidents I have avoided. God is good.

I wish we had a chat room in here, I could tell you some real humdingers! Get that forum up and running brother, I'm still praying!

Well, I'm afraid I have to confess that my first reaction is usually negative, but I'm always working on it. My pastor has an amusing way of looking at these situations. He advises us to take a minute and ask, "Lord, are you as upset at that person for cutting me off as I am?" It's meant in fun, of course, but I find myself actually using it now and then when I get worked up for no reason. It's a good way to remind myself that such a minor offense is really not as important as I sometimes make it out to be.

An assembly is a amassing of like-minded those who would or would no longer know one yet another for a purpose... which contain worship, leisure, deliberation, and so on. Fellowship is more advantageous about community and friendship. A church amassing has aspects of both, yet isn't required for both one. someone could have fellowship with only another individual. there is an assembly of Christians the following on R&S and their fellowship is of their beliefs, regardless of in the journey that they are diverse from one yet another, and that's certainly no longer a church. an similar would properly be stated of different communities and ideology, that's between the justifications all of us come the following. community church homes in simple terms favor to do what God has commanded human beings... to love Him and one yet another. this relies upon upon each and each and every human being member and it determines the fellowship interior the assembly, be it solid or undesirable. Being human, there'll continuously be those between us who're more advantageous self dependent and self serving (Pharisees)... be they chief or layman. Love is the rationalization and purpose of our life. It must be the hallmark of our church homes. those who have not discovered this ought to patiently learn. If the church and it really is individuals do no longer adhere to this maximum elementary guiding theory of the religion, then it will be best to seem for yet another church. We do favor to visual show unit if our own causes; if love is guiding our movements besides, no longer selfishness or emotion.

Yes we are supposed to love our enemies. But we are also human with human feelings. Even Jesus got mad at the money lenders. We all fall short of perfection. We just have to keep trying each day and do the best we can.God will know that. Blessing to you
