I hope they gave you a lot of gauze to "pack the extracted tooth area" they should have-- just repack the holes with new gauze- and while doing this, apply a little pressure- it should help stop the bleeding-- also putting your head back on a pillow will help--you should be better by tomorrow- whatever you do, do not brush your teeth tonight before bed or in the morning until the bleeding has stopped....if you keep bleeding, go to the ER, and do not drive, have someone drive you........one more thing, do not drink anything through a straw for the next 4-6 days- it can cause what is called a dry socket syndrome and is very painful, just in case they didn't remember to tell you.............good luck

The rule on this is not rinse your mouth out for a day. But if you are still bleeding then rinse it with ice cold water this will help it clod. No aspirin or anything that thins the blood. I have had teeth extracted that bled for a couple of days. What I do now is eat something like cornbread and bean juice it will clod the hole. This is the old peoples way to do it, that was proven to me by my father in law. Some say that it could cause a dry socket but I have never had any problem with it. I have done this several times and it stops the bleeding within a hour. The drooling thing don't worry about that it will let up.
Good luck

FIRST OFF... STOP rinsing your mouth with warm salt water! Your not suppose to do that until 24 hours have passed, and the clot has formed!

Secondly, drooling is no biggie.. i think your just to grossed out to keep your mouth closed and swallow. Which i cant blame you, i gag at tasting blood in my mouth, lol.

IF your still bleeding, keep the gauze in place and apply lots of pressure. You'll be fine. Sometimes, people bleed longer than others, its nothing to panic over. Now if your still bleeding tomorrow... start to question yourself, should i see the doctor again. If its just small amounts of blood, its AGAIN nothing to worry about. Apply a tea bag, to the extraction site, it will help the bleeding to stop so you can clot properly.

In the meantime... No spitting, NO sucking out of straws, NO smoking (if you do)... for 48 hours!! AFTER 24 hours of NO BLEEDING... then you may start rinsing with warm salt water. This maybe the reason your still bleeding, they should have instructed you NOT to do that so soon.

i had 6 teeth extracted cause i need braces...if u feel tired just go to sleep and stick some cotton wool into each place where our teeth were extracted, it will stop bleeding if u do this. and its also normal to drool after getting teeth exracted so dont worry about that. when you sleep just make sure you use a cloth and put it over the pillow so the drool wont go everywhere. when you are awake and u start drooling again, just spit it the drool out.
don't try and lick or poke your tongue on where your teeth are extracted. gargle with COLD saltwater. lukewarm water can cause the blood to start flowing

LOL!! i went threw this. Just take a towel and fold it in half and put it on your pillow. I woke up with the towel stuck to my face but its what you have to do. Your not bleeding enough to let the blood go threw. Hope you feel better and enjoy the meds!

TWINK,
DON'T TRY TO SUCK ON THE SOCKETS WHERE THE EXTRACTIONS WERE DONE.
SWISHING WITH SOME LUKEWARM SALT WATER WILL HELP WITH THE DROOLING AS WELL AS HEALING OF THE SOCKETS.
