Hey there....well, how dark is your skin??? How dark is your hair??? Your eyes??? Take all these factors into consideration when or BEFORE you get your hair done. Don't do it yourself!!!! You could really be sorry and end up damaging your hair. Even if you go to a Beauty School (as I recently did)....I am a natural blonde...blue eyes and short on cash...needed a few highlights, went to a well-known Beauty School in town, spent 53.00 with a tip. She and her supervisor were wonderful!!! I was there over 2 hours,.. as I have long hair. Look at pics in magazines with people that you somewhat resemble...tone, color, hair texture, etc....
Good luck....let us know!!!!

haha i have dark brown hair.. well one i can tell you. please dont put blonde highlights in it, cuz guys always wonder whether you're a brunette or a blonde then. for real. plus, it looks weird. why dont you try burgundy red or wine red color, like autumn colors. hope it looks good. oh and just go ask in a hair salon what they think. if possible, ask a gay hair stylist. they are the best.;-)
