This guy that i met, i see him like twice a week, and when we see each other, I feel chemistry for him and I just want him so bad. Is this normal. Why am i not attracted to guys my age?

I always say, if it feels right do it. Sooner or later you will either realized if you made the right or wrong decision. Just keep in mind that age difference can bring it's own set of challenges to the relationship. How would your friends feel about it? your family? etc.
If you are the type of person who typically finds comfort in stability and security more than adventure and uncertainty, then this might be why you like guys older than you.

Yes, age does not matter unless your younger than 18.
Maybe these are some of the reason your not attracted to younger men.
1) younger men more likely break heart
2) less likely to commitment to a long term relationship
3) couples with the same age don't respect each other

From personal experience, I am early 20's, and I was dating someone in their late 30's, 14 years between us. At first it was great, we had a lot of fun, and had way more in common than I ever thought possible. And it may or may not have had anything to do with his age, but things died down shortly after it began. I think that if you both really want to make it work, it will, just like any other relationship. If he's the person you mesh with, then mesh away!!! Good luck!

I had the exactly the same situation.. I was 16 and i had a huge crush on a guy who was 28... it was a big difference in age.. I worked with him... People want what they cant have...Its annoying! lol.... But I think we are attracted to the maturity of the guys.. I know, I dont really date anyone younger than me because they are soo Hormonal and so weird... lol But that is my take on that... People find other people attractive, we cant help it.. it is human nature... hey, if micheal douglas could snag catherine zeta zones, at that age! what is the big deal with age?! Who cares, as long u are in love with that person and they feel the same way back.. kudos micheal and Catherine! lol.. good luck.. ciao...

Well it could either result in good - He turns out to be a sweet guy who just a has a thing of younger women. Or bad - he could just want someone young to "take advantage of" which could result in serious domestic violence. However I dont know the guy so dont take that the wrong way. One thing I've learned though is, If it seems to good to be true, it probably is.
P.S - Theres honestly nothing creepy about it or anything, if you're in love thats all that matters.

Linda, Linda Linda--a 40 year old man?? Come on, now !! Chemistry?? What chemistry?? You want to look like you're dating your uncle?? He sits in bed and you want to go out?? He can't see it yet but you will be his mid life crisis---then he will wake up--see you for the kid you are--then walk away from you. Good God, get a grip here. He's too old for you ... You may not be attracted to guys your age, but there are many with ages between 20-30. Don't confuse lust with chemistry! You can sugar coat the situation anyway you want ... but it is wrong, wrong, wrong! Have some self-respect and knock off the nonsense.

EWWWW!!!! That is like dating your dad. No that is not normal and you need help, both of you do. Is there a reason you aren't attracted to someone your own age? Maybe you just have daddy issues or fantasies maybe, whatever the case both of you are truly sick and need all the help you can get.

Why should you stay away if you're interested, you're an adult. You like what you like. We're all attracted to different things in people. I'm tall and slim and I like big boned curvy women yet everyone else I know likes petite women, oh well.
