Someone told me they loved me and it surprised me so all I said was "o.k.",now I feel bad..how to fix it?

They said it right before getting off the phone........don't want to bring it up directly and make them uncomfortable...

Do you not love them back? If not, you need to go ahead and tell them how you feel so that you don't hurt him even more. Do the right thing!

They may have said it out of habit. Ask them if it was out of habit and think about what to say if it wasn't.

just be honest.. is it early in the relationship? if it is just say I care about you. and it might turn into more.. who know it might..
