Its like I want to talk to radom girls in public, but they never look at me. Like today I was riding my bike at the beach on a bike path. And this hawt girl was coming the other way. But I was looking the whole time at her and she never looked at me.

You need to get some bi*chin' sunglasses so they don't see you staring at them and creeping them out. Just look at what I'm wearin' people. You think girls look the other way when I'm wearin' these bad boys? Forget about it.

Most of the time, approaching the opposite sex successfully depends on the circumstances and location. Do you have an open, friendly posture when you are out in public? If not, that may be why girls aren't approaching you. Relax and let your inner self come out; women can tell when you are uncomfortable.
To make sure that your "appreciative" come-hither glances towards the opposite sex aren't being taken the wrong way (leeringly, that is), ensure that you aren't staring too hard or two long. A quick double-take followed by a shy smile works wonders to get your intentions across.
Mostly, just loosen up and make sure you are putting your best foot forward, both in your actions and your apperance. And when all else fails, make them laugh. Even if you don't have movie star good looks all women appreciate a good sense of humor.

Alrighty. the bike thing was a good idea, I'd try it again but make these changes: 1. take off your shirt (or a wear a tight white wife-beater), 2. wear sunglasses, 3. board shorts 4. scandals 5. have a nice, decent smile on (but not to big, just enough so they know your having fun) .

You gotta look hot and have your own unique style for girls to get attention on you. Otherwise, you're just an ordinary guy on the street.
And please dont ever stand there too long and check girls out because it makes you look like a perv. Girls hate pervs a lot! Just walk around an area and wear some sunglasses to check girls out.

if you were staring at her then you probabley creeped her out. the best thing to do if you are shy, nervous, or have trouble finding an opening is to act like you dont really notice the girl and the go up and ask for the time, say you are lost and ask for directions, etc. if the girl is at all interested she will keep talking after she answers your question.

well you should try a little harder than that, dont be shy, girls dont like that. Just walk in front of a girl that you think is atractive(not direclty in front of her just to where she can see you) and just make sure your in a position to were she can see you and just smile or wink at her and she may get interested in you also.And she may come up to you to talk.

what you need is a conversation starter, if you have a dog, or some other pet, maybe something interesting, they'll be drawn to talking to you fast, and then you can have an excuse to talk to them
