Asking this question is like hunting Daffy Duck during wabbit season, but aren't you tired of all the Easter and Lent questions?

LOL! Yes, very tired of seeing those questions.

We don't "celebrate" Halloween, per se. I grew up with a dad whose birthday was 10/31, so we'd do his birthday before I went trick or treating.

I'm now married to a man whose birthday is 10/31 (what are the odds?) and before we had our son, we'd do the birthday thing. Now, the kid goes trick or treating. I guess if that's "celebrating" by your definition, then I guess we do. But I don't think of it as celebrating... like doing some nature celebration or decorating or holding seances or anything like that.

We just do what the majority of the rest of the country, regardless of religious beliefs, does on 10/31. Oh, I'm an atheist.

Duck season!

Wabbit season!

Duck season!

Yeah, I'm a little tired of people mistaking Christian-influenced cultural events for religious celebrations.

Halloween is the pagan vacation Samhain. Then it turned the Catholic all Saints day even as they marched via Europe. Your time-honored American Christian is protestant so that they don't even tie it to relgion now to not instruct atheists. Did you even seem this up?

i think very few of those holidays actually have a whole lot to do with religion anymore...maybe started out that way but now its all about chocolate and fun. i think joining in and having fun during those holidays is ok because.1. the religious aspect is pretty much gone...2. who can say no to dressing up and getting free candy...lol

Yes. we celebrate Xmas and Easter as well, not for the religious reasons but because of the presents and chocolate.
Such Christian festivals (actually pagan; hijacked by christains to convert the barbarians) have become secularised, now everyone can enjoy them

as a Muslim, a belief or a teaching is not being celebrated at Halloween, however my very own younger sister and brother go out trick-or-treating for fun.
