I have windows 98 and my computer is a dinosaur ....it does not have microsoft word on it either and for the life of me I cannot create a new file folder in my documents......help me

Right click in My Documents.
Select New (or Create New).
Select Folder.
Ta da.

To make a new folder in your documents just right click on any blank space in your document folder and select New Folder, which should be at the top of the list after right clicking. To make a new folder anywhere you open where you want to make the folder and right click on a blank area and select New Folder which is at the top of the list from right clicking.

Did you try right click in blank space when in My Document and a Menu will be opened and from their choose New Folder.
If you have tried and this is not working then do one thing
Select any Folder you have made copy that in other place change the name as you want then copy that again in My Document. Delete whatever is inside then put what you want inside.

Isn't it easy?

It should work if you Right Click and do New folder or it says NEW > mouse over and select folder or click File at the top and do New> or New Folder whatever one it has

it says new folder. it is a folder with a stair on it.
