What does it mean when someone is talking about talking to you "al rato" like "te hablo al rato" does that mean like despues (sorry didn't include accent) or afterwards??

Yeah

Te hablo al rato= i call you later
te hablaré al rato= i will cal you later (with the accent)

Elizabeth is wrong! they use the word despues

Te hablaré despues= i will call you later therefore:
Te hablaré al rato=Te hablaré después= I will call you later

"te hablo al rato" means "I'll call you in a while"
Yea-- it's like I'll call you later but they don't use the word "después"
