1. Thou shall have an open mind.
2. Thou shall not free a troll or troll thyself.
3. Thou shall honor all who post here and treat others with respect.
4. Thou shall not bear false witness. (means Thou shall NOT report people just because thou dis-likest them or because thou disagreest with their position or outlook.)
5. Thou shall honor proper grammar and spelling.
6. Thou shall not spam.
7. Thou shall not covet the level, ideas, and points of others.
8. Thou shall not worship the computer gods alone. (Means that thou shall have a life outside of Y.A)

10. The FSM shall provide of His bounty free Spaghetti and meatball for everyone on Saturday nights.

Here's something to get started.
1) You will respect the other people's viewpoint even if you don't agree with it.
2) You will remember that this is a free website and is open to all people that are willing to follow the rules.
3) All religions are welcome here, even the ones no one likes.
4) You have a choice of which questions to answer and which ones not to answer.
5) If the question makes you angry, you have the right to not answer a question. It's your choice whether to get angry or to use your time more productively.
6) You will remember that there is a life beyond the computer and the internet and the people you are with are more important than the people in cyberspace. Very few people on cyberspace will care if you do or don't post, but people outside will miss you if you don't spend time with them.
7) Remember your manners.
That's all I can think of.

1. Thou shalt not spam.
2. Thou shall honor proper grammar and spelling, and look down upon the caps lock key.
3. Thou shall not force-feed one's religion.
4. Thou shall not troll.
5. He who smelt it, dealt it.
That's all I got for now.

Here's my version:
I. Thou shalt not smite the Report Button simply because thou agreest not with thy brother's opinion.
II. Thou shalt address thy fellow posters with the same respect thou wisheth to be addressed thereby.
III. Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's Level nor his Best Answers nor his Thumbs-up. (Seest thou Commandment Numero Uno for detaileths.)
IV. Thou shalt ignore a troll.
V. Thou shalt not ask any variation of "If we came from monkeys. . ." or "Why are atheists here?"
VI. Ditto-eth on the "Hey, Christian Retards" or "Isn't about time we started feeding Christians to the lions again?" questions.
VII. Thou shalt not assume that thou knowest the gender, attitude, opinion, or any other detail pertaining to thy fellow posters unless they have stated-eth the same. Thou art apt to make a fool out of thyself otherwise.
VIII. Thou shalt not park thy sense of humor outside the Forum door and picketh it up on the way out. Thou wilt have sore need of it here, so bringeth it with thee whenst thou comest in.
IX. Thou shalt employ the Check Spelling function before smiting the "Submit" button. Otherwise, thy fellows shall mock thee unto scorn whenst thou posteth major spelling boo-boos.
X. Thou shalt have fun and enjoy the company of thy fellow R&S posters. They will be a source of great wisdom and laughter unto thee.

Why? What would be the purpose? To squelch other opinions? To censor things you find icky or distasteful?
Why do people feel the need to make rules and micromanage everything?

There isn't any way to set them in stone - No tablets, see? Can't keep them if you can't see them.
