Just tell them it's not something they should know at their age, and you would get into trouble if you told. That way you have an out.

My first reaction was to say go ask your mother, lol.
Otherwise, they obviously trust and respect you. If they won't ask a parent and if you definitely know the correct answer, tell them. The last thing anyone wants is for them to get their sex education from the playground--it's almost always wrong, or right with only a little bit of accurate truth mixed in.
That could spell disaster for them if they decide to try anything. (You can't get pregnant the first time...or if it's a full moon,...You get the idea.)
While you're at it, talk about safe sex and what that means--since I'll bet no adult in their life has yet. Also, tell them that you hope and expect that they don't try anything bc they're not quite old enough yet to understand what they're getting into.
For example (bear with me on this example), they're not old enough to have a license to drive a car, right? So, if they saw the keys in the ignition, would they really get behind the wheel and go out on the highway to visit Canada just bc they were curious and had never been? They need to wait bc their allowance won't cover the gasoline bill or food bill, they have no passport to get through customs, and what will they say if they get "caught" by the police?
Yes, it's better if they hear the truth from you along with some supportive info.
Besides, it's truly possible that they have heard about these things and are simply curious and will go no further.
Otherwise, what are you going to do? Chaperone them to prevent any sexual activity every single minute of the day and night? Not even their parents can do that--unless they lock each up in the basement and home-school.
Go ahead. Tell them the truth. They'll appreciate and respect you for it and you very well will have a very positive impact on their knowledge of sexual matters and their decision to abstain.

Now what do you think you should tell them? Not a darn thing. If they know to ask it, they already know what it is. Children that age get turned on using an eraser so don't urge them with something more. Think about it. If you are over the age of 18 you could be charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor. If you feel the urge to tell them something, tell them to do their homework ... which will tick them off, but at least get sex off their minds for a minute.

I think 12 year old should focus on something like education than having boy friend/girl friend.

Tell them to talk to their parents. That way you are not involved and do not have worry about parents being mad at you...
