While surfing the internet I came across a site talking about telekinesis(no I wasn't surfing for dirty things for anyone who thinks like that) and one of the steps for telekinesis is getting an additional source of energy. They did list a few such as the sun, earth, water, fire, etc. but they didn't list darkness, so I am wondering if you could consider darkness a source of energy for telekinesis? If so how could you use it as a source of energy?

and the section that I'm talking about is "Drawing Energy"

I would hesitate to use darkness as a source of energy, you might draw in something you didn't expect or can't handle.. May I suggest as an alternative that you visualize drawing earth energy up through your feet (this energy looks dark and coffee-like, to me) and then raise your hands over your head and visualize sunlight flowing through you down from your hands and head. Let the two energies meet in your chest and spiral together forming a sort of a beam, then let them flow to your third eye chakra, or perhaps to your hands. This is a more balanced and safer energy to use. For the telekinesis part you are on your own.

I am interested in the site that you got. Do you have a link? It sounds like they were talking about the elements of fire, water, earth, air, etc. This is different that darkness. I will have to think more about this, but I think that darkness does not have power. It is the absence of light and maybe does not have power. But I am not sure.

Darkness is an equal energy to light. One cannot exist without the other. All things are energy and together they balance life.

Technically, darkness is non-existant so therefore you can't even interact with it. Whether or not the light is on, the object is still present.
Has anyone ever heard of someone having a telekinetic episode in the dark? I say no. Don't understand it. Would rather not, anyway.

Darkness isn't considered a source of energy in itself. Light is energy unless you're trying to do black magic.

nope, sorry dude, we judge time by the change of particles in space when not using a watch, therefore darkness does'nt have a wavelength.
