Sense of humor is a dicey thing. Sometimes guys like a woman to be funny ... sometimes guys are threatened by humor because it's a sign of an independent mind, and some guys don't want that in women. The more intelligent and secure a man is, the more he will appreciate a woman's sense of humor. Careful though ... humor often turns off sexiness. Not many guys want to hear a humorous reaction to their attempts to be romantic. Good luck finding one of the superior guys who appreciates a woman's humor.

I love a girl with a sense of humor. Just as long as her jokes are funny to other people and not herself

Yes. Especially if we can be humorous as well because guys like to joke about things we think about like sex, or subjects with maybe sexual implication, nothing vulgar though. It makes me really comfortable when a woman has a healthy sense of humor, it makes me feel like I can be myself and not be trying to be on my so called best behavior. I like when women are chatty on dates as well.

It may just be me, but I would find a girl who "had to be" funny all the time sort of annoying. Now, if she laughed at all the right times in the conversation and held my hand, I think I'd melt into the seat.
