Brocato Pomade is great. It's expensive, but you only use a tiny bit at a time, and rub it around on your hands/fingers, and then run your fingers through your hair. I'd not use it on the roots or they could look greasy.

After you are taking a bathe and have washed your hair, towel dry your hair and put some leave in conditioner in it, or something just like the shine enhancer if you need. Then put your hair in braids, two or three separate ones are excellent. Leave it in for the night. While you get up, before you're taking it out spray a tiny little bit of hair spray on every braid, then take it out. You'll then have wavy hair. You must additionally spray just a little extra hair spray to your entire hair after you've gotten taken the braids out if you need it to remain all day.

Sleek look shampoo & conditioner (also a good moisturizer). Leave your conditioner in until you're ready to get out of the shower. Then rince your hair with cold water at the end of your shower.

I like Neutrogena's Triple Moisture products, plus I don't use a blow-dryer, and I get many compliments on the shininess of my hair.

Use lemon juice, it removes built-up residue from shampoos and conditioners and your hair will really shine...Herbal Essence conditioner by Clairol is a great hair moisturizer.

When in the shower shampoo your hair first thing and let your conditioner sit in the whole time...then when you rinse it do it with cold water to close up the cuticle. do a hot oil treatment or hair pak once a week

Sorry to disagree with everyone here, but you need good nutrition and vitamins. Hair products will only do so much. But what comes from your body gives your hair so much more. Hair needs rich nutrition.

Aveda has this wonderful product that you just spray on and it makes my hair really shiny, only draw back is that the product is prizy.
