Would I look good as a blonde or black haired? Pics included.?

I want to die my hair when I get a little bit of a tan and grow my hair out a couple inches. I kind of want the Avril look in Girlfriend. Or I want black hair almost the same cut as mine.

I am not American either, I am also not obese. The pic was downsized improperly but I am overwieght. Also, I am 12 and I have dyed my hair 4 times since I was 9. That isn't my Natural Hair.

Anyways, die your hair a DARK brown cause you wouldn't look good with strait black. Or why dont you just put blonde highlights in your hair. OR some black lowlights. That would look SWEET.

You look so young - how old are you? Judging by your picture, you can't be more than 11 or 12 years old - why do you want to dye your hair? Sweetie, if you start dying at this age, your hair will be ruined by the time you're twenty, if not earlier. Pink streaks would be even worse. The blonde probably would not work on you - it might make you look washed out, or if you were tan, it might make you look artificially orange colored, also because Avril's complexion and yours seem really different. The pink streaks would just make your hair fall out. I'm not sure how the black would work out, but once you died your hair black there's no going back - it's a very difficult color to color over. If I were you, I would maybe just change my haircut / hairstyle - maybe grow your hair out about 2 or 3 more inches, add layers, and maybe some swoop bangs? That would really compliment your face and your hair is already a pretty color as it is. However, in the end you should really do what you want. Everyone's face and hair is different, so you could consult a hairstylist and have them give you their honest opinion on what colors and cuts would suit you. Good luck and have fun!

Go with the blonde hair! Black hair will look too harsh on you! Good Luck! P.S. Also, the color on the bottle is not the color you will end up with. Always pick a shade or two lighter than you want, and then you will get the color you intended! And stick with colors that say "natural" rather than cool or warm. Cool colors often look ashy, and warm blonde shades often look brassy. Especially if you want to add pink hi-lights!

Stay natural looking. Soft highlights work best. Stray from the pink - it's cute to look at on good looking celebrities - and those are the only people it's cute to look at on!!
