How could they bust you for it and prove it? I do it. But sometimes I don't because some of those tards out there NEED to get busted for the safety of all of us. Ever been on I-10 and see how some of those fools drive? wow

I flash my headlights when there is a cow or deer in or on the side of the road. I would rather save someone from hitting a large animal. I will also tap my breaks repeatedly to the person behind me if i see a large animal in the road. There are more important things on the road than cops. Besides, if you are going fast enough to get a ticket, you are not only putting your own life at greater risk, you are putting the lives of others in greater risk.

No, because it's well within the officer's scope of duty to "hide" to catch speeders. I do flash my lights if there are deer or other animals in the roadway, to let oncoming vehicles know of the hazard.

No, If they are doing something illegal then they should be arrested, or ticketed. For the most time I do tell other drivers by giving them a signal.

I even have won tickets earlier in my existence, and been unhappy as quickly as I did, yet in no way have i considered people who wrote them, or the equipment for which they labour because of the fact the "enemy." the comparable person who writes you a cost ticket at present would desire to be the only which pulls somebody's baby out of a burning motor vehicle day after today.

HELL NO!!! If they are intentionally doing something wrong, for example, driving drunk or talking on their cell phone, then they deserve to get caught. You're not just alerting fellow speeders. You're letting ALL of the bad drivers know, "hey, toss out your guns, empty beer bottles, and dope bags." Think about it.

I flash my lights to warn oncoming motorists of any unusual condition ahead,
As far as warning them, "police ahead, " you just helped the police get the message across, so, why not??

In most states it is illegal. The police may be looking for an escaped felon or child molester or anybody, and you could tip off the criminal of a cops where abouts. Most police are there for your safety so don't think of it as an us against them thing.

It is illegal to do so. It is illegal for flashing your lights to opposing traffic anyway. So you can get a ticket either way.
