If pope can drink poison infront of the whole world and prove others that his fake bible n fake god is real.
So it wll bcom easy for missionaries to convert other people instead of using malpractises

I don't know about being a "real Christian" by your definition, but I *have* spoken Spanish in several prayer meetings -- a language that I don't speak and have never studied. The message was specific to the two people in the group who spoke Spanish and had been praying for the answer that they received in their own language.
In Christ's day, poisoning was a common way to get rid of your enemies. There is a story that St. John was given a cup of poisoned wine to drink, and it didn't harm him. And St. Paul was bitten by a viper but was not harmed, which amazed the people around him.
I have no intention of deliberately handling snakes or drinking poison, but I trust that if something should accidentally happen to me, God will be true to His Word.
Edit:
Ah, so now you get to set the parameters of what qualifies as speaking in new tongues -- how wonderful that you know as much as God.
So does that mean that the apostles weren't real Christians since they preached to a crowd of people in their own languages on the day of Pentecost? I'm going to love to see you tell that to St. Peter on Judgment Day!

You do not become a Christian by memorizing the Bible and participating a Quiz on the Bible. Proof of the pudding is in eating. Have I learnt to love the way Christ did or sacrifice myself for others or tolerate insult, cruelty, pain and hurt or forgive those who oppressed me or betrayed me like Christ did? Have I been able to imbibe the moral values that his life highlights?

From the look of your additional details Jesus could come to you with the entire Heavenly Host and you would not give up your mocking attitude.
I know that MY name is written in the Lamb's Book of Life. I am the only one that I NEED to convince but I try to lead as many as will to join me in my journey.
I fear you may never see the light and join the journey so I'll not cast my precious pearls before you.

The verse you're quoting from is referring to Christians as a group. So it's the CHURCH will perform miracles, etc. not individual Christians. Miracles or other signs are gifts of the Spirit and each of us have different ones - not all of us have each gift.

I appreciate u have read bible if not to follow atleast to criticise it, but i would suggest you to read from Mark 14 before going on further. Jesus rebukes his disciplines for refusing to believe that 'He has risen' inspite several of them have seen him in person. And says to them "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation, and whoever believes Will be saved.... and these signs will accompany those who believe.. Those of which you had asked for to drink poison and to speak different language..
Have faith has little as mustard seed you can move mountain...
Use your knowledge to honour your creator who has given you the brain to think.

The Bible says you are Christian if you believe Jesus is the Son of God and came to earth to save us from our sins. We have to try to walk in Christ's footsteps. Yes I am a Christian. God works miracles through people when He wants to; you never "deserve" that gift when it happens.

I think speak with new tongues means a different perspective than others...otherwise, its all crap, like most of the stuff the Pope decided belonged in the Bible
