1. Each day walk fast enough to elevate your heart beat, fo about 20 minutes (walking is as good as jogging without the damage). This will help to elevate your metabolism.
2. Eat low fat foods.
3. Eat very small snack sized meals 5 or 6 times a day, within an hour of activity.
4. Drink water with meals (your skin will love you)
5. Do not depend on pills and vitamins, or (special mixtures) to help. They generally make you lose water weight.
6. Watch the calories, 2500 - 3500 is too many per day.
7. Don't try to lose too much too quick, 2 pounds a week is a high goal, but reachable.
Good luck, John

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter your stats, take 300-400 calories off that number and that's how much you need to lose weight.
5-8servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water a day
5-6 small meals instead of 3 big ones (breakfast is the most important - make sure to get complex carbs like whole wheat bread, oatmeal, fruit etc)
4-6 times a week cardio for 30-50min, light weight training, many reps
no junk food, no sodas, no alcohol, no white flour (cakes, cookies, white bread, pasta etc.), nothing high in sugar (ice cream)

Join a gym and do alot of cardio to burn off the fat and weights to build muscle--which will get you toned and muscle burns more calories than fat. Do not feel self conscience about being at a gym--most who are their and in shape were overweight at one time that's why they are there--you can ask them questions about how they look good and they will give you pointers on machines and such. I worked at a gym for years and everyone supports regulars. You also need to get on a healthy diet-try a shake like slim fast for a meal or two and have a big lunch of protein and a salad.
I have 4 kids--youngest 7 months old and weigh 115--just work out and eat right--it will drop off.

start eating less and burning more! but be careful you need to go on a 1200 calories and more diet so that your body don't go in to starvation mode. There's a lot of tips I can give you like : 1-exercise
2-drink ALOT of water even if you're not thirsty
3-try to eat 5 small meals a day, by eating at each 3 hours
4-don't eat after 7pm
5-the last thing you eat should be a big cucumber because it's high in fiber and it boost your metabolism
GOOD LUCK!

I lost about 20 Pounds in 3 months because I started to walk or take my bike (when it was not to far)instead of driving with the car. I also started to eat these cupnoodles they are yummie with a squezze of Lemon and they fill you up. I stopped drinking Soda or something from Starbucks and so on. Maybe that are just little things but you will be amazed how it works.

Try to eat fruit for breakfast, salads for lunch, and very little for dinner, because that's when our bodies start making fat, when we're at rest. Drink lots of water! Email me, and I'll try to get some good exercises for you.
