The other day my ex-boyfriend emailed me out of the blue just asking how things are going. I emailed him back and said I felt nostalgic about our past r/ship and that I missed him. He emailed back saying he had been depressed and stuff and that he could have been nicer to me and now he was a different person. He also gave me his cell number and asked for mine.

Do you think he is hinting he might want to give it another shot? Only thing is he lives in another state and is engaged. We were together for 2 years and almost got married but broke up 4 years ago. (I broke it off.) What do you think? Thanks!!

He is lonely, horny and thinks he can get back into your pants. He isn't interested in a long term relationship, more like a few weeks of fun.

Whatever caused you two to break-up is still there. He hasn't changed, don't think that for a minute. If you get back together, it won't be for long. Time has made for forget all the bad parts...keep that in mind.

He's engaged. Leave him alone. If he wanted to "give it another shot" he would be cheating on his fiance. If he can do that to her then he can cheat on you. Think about it. Don't be the one to wreck their relationship.
