what liquor would you mix with ginger ale? i usually do vanilla Skyy or Stoli. any other ideas?

Captain Morgan's spiced rum! Add a fruit based drink like Martinelli's apple cider with the spiced rum and the gingerale and you have a sexy, spicy, fizzy cocktail! YUM!

Vodka's always been my favorite to go in ginger ale, though you could also throw in some grenadine or lime along with it. Another possibility is Bailey's Irish cream & creme de menthe. (with or without the vodka) Sort of a grown up variation on an Italian soda.

you can mix a drink call
APPLEJACK HIGHBALL
3/4 0z orange juice
dash greenadine
11/4 0z calvados or applejack
and ginger ale
stir the first 3 ingredents over ice in a collins glass.
and fill with ginger ale .
BOURBON HIGHBALL
3 0z bourbon
ginger ale
sprial lemon twist
pour bourbon over ice cubes in a collins glass
with ginger ale.add the sprial lemon twist.

With ginger ale I usually go for whisky or scotch with a twist and lots of ice in a bucket.
