I wrote 2 letters on resignation for both my supervisor and HR giving a two weeks notice. I walk in to my supervisors office handed him the letter and then next to HR . five minutes later my supervior called me into th HR office and asked me to pack my things. I did not know why.

But turns out that i handed my supervisor a letter that i had wrote my ex-boyfriend.

He told my to leave immidiately, and to not return.

On the bottom of the letter it says your ex girl friend. but it was not addressed to anyone

Can i get fired on the spot for that. I have worked with this company for 11 months and 3 of those months i was a temp thru a temporary agency.

It was just a misunderstandin and now i will be out of two weeks pay. is there anything i can do to get those two weeks paid out to me.

Getting fired is a bummer. I'm sorry it happened to you. I've been fired twice in my long career, and I felt really bad both times. But, each time, I found new and better opportunities. Getting fired is a push to get you out looking for a better job.

Talk to the Calif employment commission about your two week's pay, but don't fret over it too much. You were going to leave them anyway.

Get out there and find a place where you can have real opportunities to grow!
Good Luck

lol thats why you should always proof read things before you pass them out, email them out. hehe and yeah you probably got fired for sexual harrasment so yes it is legal for them to do so. A misunderstanding yes , possibly but companies now a days are not willing to take chances on anything so good luck on your job hunt.

I think that once you give your two weeks they are under no obligation to let you work them. The policy differs from company to company.

Write him a letter and clear the whole thing up.

maybe he doesn't want you to come back, so he fired you instead. try speaking to the owner or anyone above your supervisor. good luck!
