Since the mites can live for 48-72 hours on clothing, bedding, towels, etc., should be washed in hot water and then dried in a hot dryer. Things that can't be washed can be placed in a plastic bag for a few weeks to make sure the mites have died. Furniture and carpeting should also be vacuumed carefully.

Yes it does....
Launder all clothing worn before treatment in hot water. Dry it in a hot dryer.
Wash all linens and towels used before treatment in hot water. Dry them in a hot dryer. Dry-clean items that cannot be machine washed.
Put non-machine-washable items like quilts, blankets and soft toys inside a large trash bag and seal it tightly. Leave it sealed for two weeks. The scabies mites will die without a human host.
Freezing items for 24 hours will also kill scabies.
BTW....Scabies is often spread by sharing the same bed, towels and clothing, so make sure you wash and dry, or freeze EVERYTHING !
Itching may continue for several weeks after treatment. In most cases, it stops soon after treatment begins. Four hours after treatment, a person is no longer infectious.

I hope this helps.

Only lice I believe , you have to have a doctor actually find the scabies mite so you are treating for the right thing ..its a little odd to have em in your hair that sounds like lice go make sure .. if the doc sees nothing you may have something totally bazaar and different and the pesticide treatments can hurt your body and exacerbate problems such as Morgellons
