Would you rather go through a relationship where your extremely in love, but you argue alot, but after each argument, your okay again, and your back to extreme affection. OR. would you rather have a slow relationship which does not have way too much passion but on the plus side, no argument?
I know, dumb question, but I am young, and was just curious about opinions from adults in serious relationships =]

For the second one, I mean like a moderate smooth relationship, but no fire.

Extreme passion makes the relationship a more exciting and last longer, even with arguements. Every relationship has arguements, even the good relationships. Arguements are actually good for a relationship because it makes the couples to learn to compromise with each other.
However slow relationships is fine too. I actually like slow relationships too. But without passion, there is no real love... and it would be pointless with a guy who doesnt argue with you, but doesnt love you with a passion.

It depends on what you want from the relationship. Big passion makes for good sex, but it doesn't pay the bills or wash the dishes or hold your head when you have the stomach flu. Do you want fun and games, or a loving commitment? It's up to you to choose, and if you are young, maybe you can try a little of both until you find out what is better for you.

I've always preferred the passionate approach myself. Much more exciting. It doesn't necessarily mean a lot of arguing, but it definitely means hotter sex.
No relationship, passionate or otherwise can survive without kindness, patience and mutual respect. Throw in a large dose of a good sense of humor.
I'm passionate by nature though. Nothing wrong with a more mellow relationship. Its a personal choice.

Answer number 2......Why.....Because extreme passion rarely last and arguing will get old fast. Slow relationships don't stay slow they build up over time and last longer. When you don't argue that means your happy with your partner. Sex is important with any relationship but it isn't the only thing and a relationship built on sex just never last.

I've been in both kinds of relationships and as I get older I prefer the smooth relationship. Besides smooth relationships can have passion. It really doesn't have to be an either/or situation. You can have both.

I think that anything in excess isn't always good. So too much passion or no passion; too many arguments or no arguments isn't good for any relationship. Its better to have a mixture.
