There are many ways music is illegally shared. From as simple as borrowing a friends CD or portable hard drive, to remote options like BitTorrent, DC++, LimeWire, or BearShare. If you are using programs or methods like these, be careful not to break the law. There are many legal alternatives other than going to the store and buying the cd. If you like having music on your computer, try iTunes.

though it is illegal and the RIAA have recently begun a massive campaign against internet and P2P downloading, there are sites that will allow you to download songs for free. Also, Peer 2 Peer systems such as eMule, Limewire, and bittorrent are widely available for free download and use.

your kidding right? there are 1000's of program to download music with, a popular one is limewire, search for peer to peer music downloading and you will see a lot of possibilities
