I have a few tried and true recipies. All of which are a piece of cake.
The first is the spinach dip on the back of the Knorr's vegetable soup mix. I know it seems simple, but everyone loves it and it is a piece of cake to prepare.
Another is English cucumber sliced with a schmear of alouette or any other herbed soft cheese. Top it off with a small piece of smoked salmon. I don't like it, but there are never any left.
You can also try button mushrooms stuffed with bleu cheese. You can make these a few hours ahead of time. Just make sure that you salt and pepper the mushrooms before you stuff them with the cheese. Don't overstuff them. Pop them in the onen at 350 until they are golden brown on top. It generally takes a little less than 10 minutes.
My final recommendation is a feta cheese dip. The recipe for this really requires that you are paying attention. I generally get 2 bricks of feta. Put this in the food processor with parsley. Slowly add olive oil until it becomes light and fluffy. Serve this with pita. I generally like to serve it with pita chips.

Easy Roll-ups
spread flour tortillas with soft onion-chive cream cheese (buy it in a tub). Layer with thin slices of hard salami from the deli or lunch-meat section of the store. Roll up tightly and chill for 2 hours. Cut off ends and discard (or eat). Slice rolls in 1 inch pieces, and arrange on a dish cut-side up.
These are terrific!

You can cut celery into three pieces per stalk and fill the pieces with different types of cream cheese.
For dessert I suggest you bring a blueberry pie and some lite cool whip.
For extra points you can put the cool whip on your brothers head, everyone but hime will have a good laugh.

This is good, easy, impressive and easy to transport.
It is just simply a brick of cream cheese, some cocktail sauce and some salad shrimp. When you get to location, put your cream cheese on a plate, top with cocktail sauce and cover that with shrimp. Have chips or bagel chips for dipping. Decorate with swigs of parsley.
2. deviled eggs are also easy to make ahead and bring
3. Cocktail weiners in grape jelly and cocktail sauce, simmered and put in a small crockpot .
4. a container of cool whip with strawberry jam mixed in and served with pretzels. Surprisingly good!
5. Ham roll ups. Get thin ham slices, dry them off and spred softened cream cheese over all, roll up with a long wedge of dill pickle and cut into 4 pieces. Secure with tooth picks. This is also a fav, and I keep forgetting about it!
Hope this helps. Happy Easter

Veggie Pizza
Spread premade crescent rolls on to a cookie sheet ( to form a crust) and bake until golden. Mix cream cheese, sour cream and dry ranch seasoning in a small bowl then spread over baked crust. Cover with fresh veggies; mushrooms, olives, broccoli, cucumbers or whatever you prefer.
