IMO the LDS church is a very organized religion that takes excellant care of its members and teaches an intresting gospel that clearly helps people find peace with "God" and inspires people to live better lives.

So why all the stinky cabbage from people?

People are afraid of things they do not know. Most of the world does not know what the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints teaches, therefore they are afraid of it. Instead of asking members about their beliefs, they take the word of people who do not know.

Perhaps you could help people to understand what the Church is about, educate your friends, correct those who say things that are not true. There are many things that anyone can do to help the public learn they have nothing to fear.

For a minute I had no idea of what you were talking about when referring to stinky cabbage. I happen to like kimchi too.

Of all the Christian faiths, only the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints catches the ire and hatred from other Christians. Why is that? Think about it.

We are in the last days before the Christ will return. Satan has geared up since the early 1800s to put down this Church because it is the true restored Church of Jesus Christ and he knows it! He is doing everything in his power to influence and convince others that the LDS Church is wrong and led by him, not Jesus Christ.

Such low-key and high profile persecutions of the LDS Church will continue until the Millennium comes. We expect it and shall ignore it while spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world.

The LDS church did not recently purchase all of the property in downtown SLC. They have always owned it and are refurbishing it to create a wonderful new-looking downtown district. Geez people, get your facts straight.

"You want to convert and control the universe."
It basically says to do that in the bible. To spread the word of god or something, to do missionary work.... and what have you...
